DIY SOLAR OVEN

Step 1: Prep the box

Trace a square on the lid of your box, then cut out square. Use your ruler's width as a guide.

Step 2: Wrap in foil

Wrap the square that you've cut of of your box in foil.

Step 3: Line the box

Line base of box in black construction paper and Blu Stik.

Step 4: Grab your glue gun - adults help needed

Use the Mini Hot Glue Gun to stick the plastic wrap to the inside of lid – adults help needed.

Step 5: Prep your Smores

Prepare your Smores on the construction paper and close lid.

Step 6: Attach foil

Adults help needed - Hot Glue one side of the foil-wrapped cardboard on the top of the box.

Step 7: Skewer the box

Pierce skewer to top left corner of the foil and cardboard box to hold in place.

Step 8: Let it cook

Leave somewhere warm to cook for one hour!*

*Cook time will vary, depending on weather and location. We suggest avoiding direct sunlight on hot days, and leaving a little longer on cool days.
